Esther E. Brant, 77, of St. Petersburg, Florida died peacefully October 26, 2010 at Egret Cove Center where she was cared for since May, 2008 after several years of declining health. It was her wishes for cremation without services.
McIntire, Davis, and Greene Funeral Home in Wooster is handling the arrangements.
She was born April 27, 1933 to Clyde and Nora (Moose)Shamp. She married Don Brant June 13, 1951. She was a Smithville graduate and a member of the Smithville Brethren Church. She was a secretary for JM Smucker Co and a dental office receptionist for Donald Bricker and Thomas Boreman.
She enjoyed her family and friends, and her dog Kallie. She loved to crochet and fish, was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Surviving are her husband, daughters Patti (Denny) Blough of Orrville, Margie (Dick) Norris of Smithville, 5 grandchildren – Chris (Tanya) Blough of Orrville, Brian (Jillian) Blough of NY, Andrew of Orrville, Steve (Alissa) Norris and Sara (Pete) Miley, both of Smithville. 8 grandchildren – Caedon, Broden, and Greyson Blough, Iyla and Holden Blough, Olivia and Max Miley, Molly Norris. A sister Janice Clark, brothers Adrian (Helen) Shamp and Dale (Donna) Shamp all of Smithville, Myron Shamp of Tennessee and Darrell (Cheryl) of Wooster.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Clyde Shamp Jr.
