WOOSTER – Edward Scott DYE, 50, of Wooster, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2010 in Akron City Hospital.
He was born June 21, 1960 in Wooster, the son of Charles E. and Gwenn JoAnn Joby Dye.
He was self-employed and a member of the First Church of God on Akron Road.
Surviving are mother, Gwenn JoAnn Joby Dye, of Wooster; his children Scott Edward Dye, Gwen Koller of Wooster, Jessica (Colin) Stutz and Cassandra Thompson all of Wooster; grandchildren Alma, Brianna, Nylah, Shealynn and Neomiah; a sister, Lori Jo (Randy) Kaple of Bucyrus; nieces Tara, Alexis and Lauren and great nieces Ava and Livia.
Edward was preceded in death by father, Charles E. Dye.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 from 6-8:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at First Church of God on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Arnie Kauffman officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
