WOOSTER – Dennis L ROOKER, 63, of Wooster, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2010 in his home.
He was born October 15, 1947 in Los Angeles, CA. He married Diane Teasley on January 16, 1969. She survives.
He retired in 2003 from the Gerstenslager Co. from the Rack Repair Department and had been a fork lift operator for 12 years. He was a member of the Hands of Grace Church. He enjoyed stamp and coin collecting and fishing. He served his country with the U.S. Army during the VietNam War.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Kelly Rooker of Orrville and a son Brian (Paula) Rooker of Wooster; grandchildren, Ciera, Jordan, Nick, Elizabeth and Isaac Rooker; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Stephen Smith officiating.
McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
