APPLE CREEK – Daniel Allen WARDREP, 73, of Apple Creek, passed away Monday, December 6, 2010 in Shady Lawn Nursing Home, Dalton surrounded by his wife and son.
He was born August 10, 1937 in Knoxville, TN, son of Robert Bruce and Pearl Pickering Wardrep.
He was a Navy-Air Force Veteran and graduated from Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee with a degree in Science.. He received a Masters Degree in Education from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. Daniel was a retired teacher and principal having taught in Elyria, Zanesvile and Valley View Schools.
Surviving are wife, Carol Dempster Wardrep; a daughter, Rebecca Nold of Arizona and a son Robert Daniel Wardrep of Apple Creek; 4 grandchildren and a brother, Michael Wardrep of Cincinnati.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel at Resthaven Cemetery in Avon with Hospice Chaplain Bob Grover officiating. There will be no calling hours.
McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
