WOOSTER – Velma M GASBARRE, 77, of Wooster, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2010 in Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born January 17, 1933 in Canton, the daughter of Frank and Esther Ream Bauer.
She retired in the mid 1990’s from Rubbermaid. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Velma was an avid crafter who loved crocheting and knitting baby clothes.
Surviving are a son, Michael A (Joyce A) Gasbarre of Wooster and a daughter, Barbara Beinbrink of San Diego, California and grandchildren Jason and Christine Gasbarre.
Velma was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends will be received on Friday, December 10, 2010 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Private family burial will be held at the Wooster Cemetery.
