Brian A. Parker, 32, of Columbus, died Friday December 10, 2010 at Akron City Hospital.
He was born June 19, 1978 in Chicago, IL, son of Gerry and Maureen Flaws Parker.
Brian graduated from Wooster High School in 1996 and then attended the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts where he earned his Associate’s Degree and would become an Executive Chef in Columbus.
He married Brandi Yenne on September 3, 2005.
He loved fishing and winter outdoor activities. Brian was an avid football fan and his favorite team was the Chicago Bears.
Brian is survived by his wife; parents Gerry and Maureen Parker of Wooster; brother, Michael Parker of Lawrenceville, NJ; sister, Amy (Joel) Pritchett of North Canton, nieces, Brianna Banfield and Karissa Pritchett; maternal grandmother Ruth Flaws of Bridgeview, IL; special aunt Toni; special uncles Harry and David and cousins Anna, Joey and Tommy.
Brian was preceded in death by grandparents Arnold and Mary Parker and David Flaws and a cousin Danny Flaws.
Services will be held at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Monday December 13, 2010 at 10:00 AM.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00-4:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
