WINTER PARK, FL – Louise E (Major) Hixson passed away on Sun Dec 19, 2010. She has lived in Florida for over 32 years. She was a golfer, artist, traveler, gardener and personal interior designer for her children. A loving mother and grandmother, she will be missed by all who knew her.
She was born October 10, 1919 in Wooster, Ohio to Walter & Ola Levers Major. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ralph, and brother Frank.
She is survived by her daughter Barbara Jo (Patrick) Crosson of Winter Springs, Fl; son Murray (Candice) Hixson of Sanford, Fl; granddaughters Jennifer Hixson of Casselberry, Fl; Leigh (Mark) Thorstenson of Orlando. Fl; sister Margery Heintzelman of Columbus, Ohio; 2 great-grandsons and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Sat, January 8th at McIntire, Davis, & Greene, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster. Visitation will be from 10 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
