WEST SALEM – Lillie I WEISER, 83, of West Salem, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010 in Country Pointe Nursing Home of Wooster.
She was born February 4, 1927 in Holmes Co near Welcome the daughter of A R and Carrie Crum Mackey. She married Forest Weiser on January 12, 1947. He survives.
She was a homemaker on the family farm for over 47 years. She loved her black labs, was an avid baker and seamstress sewing clothes for children and baby dolls for charity. She was a member of the Farm Bureau, an active member of the Salem Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School and was active in the after Church fellowship.
The family would like to thank the staff in the Progressive Unit at Wooster Community Hospital and the staff at Country Pointe. .
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Ron (Christine) Weiser of West Salem and a daughter Bonnie Kinney and Jeff Rickel of Lexington; 6 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 10-great-grandchildren, 1 step-great grandchild.
Lillie was preceded in death by her parents and 9 brothers and sisters, 2 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Woosteron Thursday evening from 6-8:00 p.m.
A Memorial Services will be held at the Salem Lutheran Church on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Marianne Powrie officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Church Cemetery at 10:30 am on Friday.
