WOOSTER – Marjorie Helmreich DICE, 68, of Wooster, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2010 in West View Manor Nursing Home.
She was born March 9, 1942 in Bakersville, OH, the daughter of Clarence and Maxine Bahmer Helmreich. She married William Dice on August 11, 1972. He died May 8, 2000.
She was a graduate of Stone Creek High School and had been the Home Economics teacher at Triway High School from 1964-1996. Marjorie was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, a member of Wooster Emblem Club #374, was Uncle Sam for all the parades and she served on different committees with the Emblem Club. She was a member of the Elks Club and the Creston Women of the Moose..
Surviving are a daughter, Kathy (Robert) Manfull of Canton and a son, Charles (Phyllis) Dice of Wooster; grandchildren, Jason Dice of Medina, Ashley Dice, Cody Dice, Chelsea Dice all of Wooster and Jedidiah Manfull of Canton and a great-granddaughter Jessica Dice; a sister, Phyllis Pugliesi of Stamford, Connecticut and a brother, Earl Helmreich of Richwood, West Virginia.
In addition to her husband, Marjorie was preceded by her parents.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Sunday, January 2, 2011 from 2-4:00 and 6-8:00 pm. with an Emblem Service at 5:45 pm
Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, January 3, 2011 at 1:30 pm with the Rev. Dr. Alan E. Nathan officiating. Interment will follow in the Wooster Cemetery, Wooster.
