WOOSTER – Donna L CHAPMAN, 88, of Wooster, passed away Friday, January 21, 2011 in Wayne Manor.
She was born March 25, 1922 in Wadsworth, the daughter of John Samuel and Leona Treece Brown.
She had worked for many years in the payroll department at Bogner Construction. She was a member of the Emblem Club where she was very active in the American Flag programs and she portrayed Betsy Ross for many years and she also enjoyed all the activities at Wayne Manor.
Surviving are daughters, Cynthia (James) Rahz of Smithville and Kristine (David Miller) Schulz of Shreve, grandchildren, Wendy (David) Franck, Melissa (Brian) Gump, Brian (Jayme) Rahz and James Rahz, 7 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Orville Chapman, on July 9, 1995 whom she married April 9, 1945 and a brother, Robert Brown.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 from 6-8:00 p.m. with an Emblem Club memorial service at 5:45 p.m.
Services will be held at Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Crossroad Hospice Chaplain Rev. Tim Jansen officiating.
