Neva C. Rutt 80 of Wooster died Monday February 14, 2011 in the Wooster Community Hospital.
Private family services will be held.
She was born September 22, 1930 in Wood County Ohio the daughter of Albert G. and Mabel Williamson Hartsough. On June 7, 1952 she married Charles C. Rutt who preceded her in death in 1994.
Neva worked as a secretary at Akron Brass, Western Reserve and then retired from the College of Wooster.
She was very active in the lives of her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Waynedale High School Athletic and Music Boosters, the Moreland Garden Club, the Ohio Association of Garden Clubs where she served as a Regional Director, Cub Scouts, Girls Scouts and had been the head advisor for the True Blue 4-H club.
Surviving are her children and grandchildren: Valerie, Bob and Megan Jordan. Timothy, Diane and Curtis Rutt. Alicia, Richard, Zachary, Spenser and Charlsey Wallace. Jeffrey, Nancy, James and Emily Rutt.
Siblings: Ted Hartsough of Madison Wisconsin, Helen May Hostetler of Florida, Ellen Kay Patterson of Florida and Lina Schleitz of Troy Ohio.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County 2525 Back Orrville Rd. Wooster, Ohio 44691 or to the American Cancer Society 525 North Broad St. Canfield Ohio 44406.
