SHREVE – Dale F. Whitey MORRIS, 84, of Shreve, passed away Monday, February 28, 2011 at the home of his daughter.
He was born December 31, 1926 in Ponca City, OK, son of William R. and Gertrude Freeland Morris.
He was a graduate of Tyler Co. High School in West Virginia and was a pipeline welder out of local 798. He retired from Miller Pipeline of Greensprings, Ohio in 1990. He was a member of the Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ashland, was a member of Middlebourne Lodge #34 F& AM of West Virginia, Wooster Shrine Club, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Valley of Canton and several other Masonic Orders and Apple Creek American Legion He enjoyed spending time with his grandsons, loved NASCAR and his garden. He served his country with the U.S. Army during WWII..
Surviving are daughter, Cynthia Marie (Kent) Staley of Shreve, grandsons, Travis and Trent Staley, Nieces, Tressie Dille and Sallie Whitmer of Pennsylvania and daughters of the heart Sandy Bachus, Tina Anderson, Kim Casey and their families.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Enid L. Augenstein Morris, on January 24, 2007 whom he married August 14, 1965 and brothers Donn and William Jr.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Friday evening, March 4, 2011 from 6-8:00 p.m. with a Masonic Memorial Service at 5:30 p.m.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home, Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. with Hospice Chaplain, Tom Michaels officiating. Interment will follow in the Wooster Cemetery.

Visitation
Friday, March 4, 2011 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home with a Masonic Memorial Service at 5:30 p.m.
