Irene Virginia Miller , 89, of Apple Creek, died Sat. Morning March 12, 2011 at the Brenn-field Nursing Home. She was born April 27, 1921 in Barberton to William and Metta Earnsberger Langguth, graduated from Barberton High School and had worked for the former Isaly?s restaurant, as a dispatcher for the Dalton Police Department and in food service for Apple Creek Developmental Center. Surviving are her children :Virginia (Glen) Torrence of Wooster, Judy (Larry) Anderson of Killbuck, Susan (Jack) Johnson of Wooster, Donald (Vicki) Miller , Ronald Miller, Alan (Marie) Miller all ofApple Creek, a sister Dorothy Nutter of Massillon,14 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren . She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Floyd Miller Dec. 7, 1977` whom she married Sept. 21, 1939, siblings Evelyn Krska, and Herbert Langguth and grandchildren Christopher Johnson and Samuel Anderson. She was a member of the Apple Creek United Methodist Church, American Legion Aux, Senior Citizens and the Civic Improvement Committee. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday March 15,at the Mcintire, Davis & Greene Funeral home at 2:00 P.M , friends may call 1 hour prior to the time of service.
