WOOSTER – Louis J. Steinbach, 74 of Wooster passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011 in Wooster Community Hospital.
He was born November 16, 1936 in Windber, Pennsylvania, the son of Louis Anthony and Mary Ease Steinbach.
He married Aldine Horn in September of 1961. She survives.
He had been an assembler for Akron Brass retiring in 1999 after 35 years of service. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Loyal Order of the Moose. Louis enjoyed woodworking and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, enjoyed cooking and spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, David Steinbach, Cindy (Lee) Martin and Tina Helton all of Wooster; grandchildren, Casey Helton, Cody, Cassie,Caitlin and Cameron Martin; brothers, John Steinbach of Wooster, Thomas (Mary Ann) Steinbach of Windber, Pennsylvania and James Steinbach of Wooster.
Louis was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Thursday, April 21, 2011 from 6-8:00 p.m.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, April 22, 2011 at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in the Wooster Cemetery.
