WOOSTER ? Jerry Lee McFarren, 74, of Wooster died Saturday, April 23 in his home.
He was born July 11, 1936 in West Lebanon, the son of Warren Lee and Mabel B. Groff McFarren. He was married to Janet Wirt for 52 years. She survives.
He was a millwright at the former Regal Ware and had had worked for Neiss Body and Equipment. He was a member of the East Union Lutheran Church and was an avid bowler.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Sharon Wolboldt of Marietta, Debbie Blackman of Madison and Linda Davis of Wooster; 8 grandchildren, 3 great greatchildren; his siblings Gordon of Apple Creek, Rebecca McFarren of West Lebanon and Thomas of Massillon and his extended family Bianca Schmell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Dorothy and Joanne and a brother Atlee.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 6-8:00 p.m.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Moskowitz officiating. Burill will follow in the Moreland Cemetery.
