WOOSTER – Eloise Freeland Dunn, 84, of Wooster passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born February 15, 1927 in Clarinda, Iowa to Dr. E.W. and Ruth (Smith) Freeland. She married Lloyd G. Dunn on October 18, 1947. He survives.
Mrs. Dunn was a graduate of Stephens College, Columbia, MO and a devout member of the Presbyterian Church. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and homemaker and also devoted to her PEO sisterhood, Presbyterian Women, PTA’s and Meals on Wheels volunteer delivery.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three children, Stephen (Cindy) Dunn of Keokuk, IA, Jeffrey (Jamie) Dunn of Deer Park, WA, Kristine (Stan) Burris of Wooster, OH; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Eloise was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
A memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 621 College Ave., Wooster on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Jim Watt officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
