WOOSTER – Aline DICHLER, 92, of Wooster and formerly of Gnadenhutten and Springboro, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011 in the Wayne Co. Care Center, Wooster, Ohio.
She was born October 10, 1918 in Grayson Co., Kentucky, the daughter of Edward Brown and Iva Mae Ashley Quisenberry. She married Chester R Dichler on December 10, 1939. He died July 13, 1994.
She was a homemaker and a member and Past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star Arbutus Chapter 288. Aline was born in Kentucky and moved to Ohio where she met and married Chester Dichler. They lived in Gnadenhutten until retirement and moved to Venice, Florida. She had spent the last 12 years in Ohio first in Springboro and the last 6-1/2 years in Assisted Living and Nursing Care in Wooster.
Surviving are son, Carl (Judy) Dichler of Wooster and a daughter M. Jane (Gary) Gregg of Springboro; grandchildren, Damon Dichler of Xenia, Seana Carter of Creston, Stephanie Jordan of Lebanon and Stacy Black of Miamisburg; great grandchildren, Blake Dichler, Logan Dichler and Jera Jordan.
In addition to her husband, Aline was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Earl, Tommy, Carl, Charles and Billy Quisenberry and sisters Clarice Beville, Eva Waits and Effie Jhoslien.
Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
