WOOSTER – Wilbur D BRADEN, 87, of Wooster, passed away Sunday May 15, 2011 in Hanover House in Massillon.
He was born November 21, 1923 in Livingston, Kentucky, the son of William and Daisy Martin Braden. He married Antoinette Dellafave on January 10, 1948. She died April 7, 2009.
He retired from Rubbermaid and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing and baseball. Wilbur served his country with the U.S. Navy during WWII.
Surviving are his children Tana (Russell) Deren of Akron and William (Elaine) Braden of Burlington, North Carolina, grandchildren Patrick and Bethany Deren and a brother Jack (Nancy) Braden of Pinellas Park, Florida.
In addition to his wife, Wilbur was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Judith and a son Daniel and a sister Wilma Braden.
Friends will be received at the at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Friday evening, May 20, 2011 from 6-8:00 p.m.
A Service of Christian Burial will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.. Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
