WOOSTER – Roger Dean ROUSE, 27, of Wooster, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2011 in Wooster Community Hospital.
He was born April 7, 1984 in Wooster, the son of Donald and Terrie Durham Rouse.
Roger attended Wooster City Schools and won the yes I can award for kids who overcome big obstacles. His hobbies were spending time with his son, music, singing, dancing, going on the road with his good friend Richard, video games and watching the Browns play football. Roger enjoyed living life to the fullest. He was deeply loved and will be deeply missed. He had a heart of gold!.
Surviving are father and step-mother Donald and Vickie Rouse, his mother Terrie Rouse; a son, Payton Rouse age 5; his siblings, Missy (James Woods) Rouse, Christina (Mikel Connock) Rouse, Robert Rouse, Jack (Megan) Rouse and Josh Gray; step-brothers Jerry Rouse, Jr., Tommy Rouse and Billy Higdon; nieces and nephews Tayler Robinson, Elbert Lovell, Austin Connock, Nathan Connock, KateLynn Connock, Carson Connock, Daniel Rouse, Collin Rouse and Landen Rouse; special cousins Kristy Peyatt and Jordan Malane and many, many more all of Wooster; a special brother Cody Durham; special friends DJ Robinson, Jason Robinson, Criss Pinnick, Justin Duncan, Richard Voiles and Adam Williams.
Roger was preceded in death by grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Roy Gorge Durham, Mr. & Mrs. Chester Patterson, aunts Barbra Ann Durham and Ann Woodruff and an uncle Roger Dean Durham.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 from 6-8:00 p.m.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. with Calvin Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Mary Cemetery.
