WOOSTER ? Charles Emmett ?Chuck? Miller of Wooster passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at West View Manor after a long period of declining health.
He was born January 15, 1935 in Wooster to Emmett D. and Ruth Livingston Miller.
He was a proud graduate of Kent State University and was the owner/operator of Miller?s BP for 35 years. He was a member of the Wooster United Methodist Church.
He is survived and will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, Mary Beth Lowe Miller, his two loving sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Beth of Wooster and Joel and Gwen of Bay Village; grandchildren Claire, Lauren, Holly, Oliver and Blake; his brother Leland (Judith) of Pensacola, Florida, sister-in-law Carol Metcalf of Ft. Worth, Texas; brother-in-law David (Marceal) Lowe of Wooster and five nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant grandson, a brother-in-law, Gale Metcalf and mother-in-law and father-in-law Margaret and Leo Lowe.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster two hours prior to the 11:00 a.m. service on Saturday, June 25, 2011 with the Rev. Larry Black officiating. Burial will follow in the Wooster Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank the caring and compassionate staff at West View Manor and Hospice and Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County.
