Earl Spencer Gant, 81, of Shreve, OH, passed away July 8, 2011 at his home.
He was born October 10, 1929 in Ambler, PA, son of Clarence Norman and Iva Smith Gant.
Earl retired as a truck driver and was currently working at Lowe’s in receiving. He had been in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of the Blachleyville Church of Christ..
Surviving are daughters, Riva Gant-Lewis and Mandy Gant both of New London, OH, son, Karl (Elizabeth) Gant of Howard, OH, son, Spencer Gant of PA, sister, Emma Gant of Philadelphia, PA, brothers, Herman(Marie) Gant of Bluebell, PA,and Morris(Maria) Gant of Ambler, PA, granddaughters, Capricia Gant, Ariana Hill, and Amecia Blasingame, grandsons, Donovan Hudson, Spencer Gant and Isaac Gant, significant other, Winnie Garlock of Shreve, OH.
Earl was preceded in death by brothers, Norman and Bill Gant, and sister, Irene Gant
Services will be held at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, Tuesday July 12, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dan Kirtlan officiating. Interment will follow in the Savannah Cemetery .
Friends will be received at the at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, Wooster, OH., Monday from 6-8 PM.
