WOOSTER – Paul Richard Dick MCINTYRE, 79, of Wooster passed away Sunday July 10, 2011 in the Hospice Care Center in Akron.
He was born January 11, 1932 in Coshocton.
He had worked for Miller Pipe Line as a pipeliner. Served his country with the US Army during the Korean War. Dick was a life member of the Holmesville American Legion Post 551 and the VFW in Killbuck.
Surviving are daughter, Valarie Van Houten (Rusty Bader) of Wooster a son, Jeffrey (Brenda) McIntyre of Wooster, grandchildren, Jennifer (Brian) Gendaszek, Justin and Michelle Van Houten, Megan and Cody McIntiyre, a great-granddaughter Madison Gendaszek; a sister, Betty Immel of Wooster and a special friend, June Tarleton of Holmesville.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Barbara Lautzenhiser McIntyre on August 15, 2001 and a son, Scott A. Munch McIntyre.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Wednesday evening, July 13, 2011 from 6-8:00 p.m.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Moreland Cemetery.
