WOOSTER – Victoria G. KELLEY, 79, of Wooster passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2011 in Akron City Hospital.
She was born July 22, 1931 in Weilersville, the daughter of Russell and Emma Meyer Kauffman. She married Glenn Kelley in 1952. He died in 1995.
She was a homemaker and had worked as a waitress. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Victoria enjoyed cooking and canning.
Surviving are her children, Emmalee Kelley of Indiana, George Kelley of Wooster, Vickie Ann Miller of Ashland and Connie Moses of Wooster; grandchildren, John Burgett, Teresa Plott, Kristie Tincher, Teddy and Melody Moses, Matthew and Mark Miller, Mary Roman, Peggy, Ricky, and Ann Kelley and Jason Lucas; 19 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul Kauffman of Creston and a sister Christine Plant of Wooster.
Victoria was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Cecelia Boldman, Mary Neuffer and Leona Short, brothers John and Henry Kauffman and 3 infant siblings Walter, George and Helen Kauffman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster with the Rev. Stephen Moran as the celebrant. Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the service at the Church..
McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster,is assisting the family.
