WOOSTER – Margaret Campbell Anfang, 90, of Wooster died on July 14, 2011 at home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Avenue, Wooster on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Stephen Moran as the celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. Mary Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Harry and Margaret Mae Dolan Campbell on March 16, 1921. She married William Anfang, Jr. on November 21, 1949. She attended Mount Mercy College in Pittsburgh and graduated from Ashland University.
Throughout her life she was active in St. Mary Catholic Church teaching CCD and was a member of the Catholic Daughters. She received the PIUS X award for outstanding service to CCD.
After marrying, she moved from Pittsburgh to the farm on Heyl Road that she affectionately referred to as Pumpkin Hill. She is survived by daughters Connie M. Anfang of Wooster and Suzanne O’Rielly of Cleveland and a son, William Anfang, III of Wooster; 4 grandchildren and a brother, Harry Campbell of Boston, Massachusetts.
Her parents, her husband, William Anfang, Jr., an infant daughter Margaret, a brother, 2 sisters and a grandson died previously.
