APPLE CREEK – Ronald R FISHBURN, 62, of Apple Creek, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011 in Sunbury, Ohio.
He was born April 3, 1949 in Millersburg, the son of Clarence H and Betty Keim Fishburn. He married Bonnie Hostetler on May 19, 1983. She survives.
He had received an Associates Degree from the Ohio State University and had been a truck driver for Central Farm and Garden for the last 14 years. He was a member of the American Legion, an avid Browns, Indians and Cavs fan. Ronald enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids and enjoyed his work as a truck driver. He served his country with the U.S. Army during the VietNam War.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Betty Fishburn, of Wooster, his sons, Jason Allen Fishburn of Colorado and Anthony Fishburn of Apple Creek; grandchildren, Kyle Fishburn, Alexianna Butcher and Tessa Fishburn; a brother, Aaron Fishburn and sisters Penny Martin and Bonnie Root all of Wooster.
Ronald was preceded in death by his father, a brother Randy Fishburn and a Sherry Fishburn.
A Memorial Service will be held at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.with the Rev. Tim Broughton officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Inurnment will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
Those who wish may make contributions to the Funeral Home to help defray expenses.
