WOOSTER ? Robert ?Bob? Fox died July 20, 2011 in his home surrounded by family members after a very brief illness.
He was born to Ronald and Letha Fox on October 26, 1936 in Cass City, Mich. Bob attended Michigan State University where he received his PhD in Agricultural Engineering. Bob was retired from the USDA where he was stationed at the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center. He was an active member of Kiwanis, and an avid golfer.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years Marilynn Fox; daughters Tracy Fox-Hogan of Galion, Leslie Smith of Centerville, Susan Fox of St. Paul, Minn.; sons Sean Fox of Charlotte, NC, and Andy Fox of Van Buren, Ark.; five granddaughters and five grandsons, many other relatives and countless friends and colleagues. Bob was predeceased by his daughter Bambi Franks.
In accordance with Bob’s wishes, he was cremated and no service will be held. Bob was a quiet man who loved children and who believed that actions speak louder than words. He touched many lives, was loved by his family, admired by all who knew him, and was taken from us far too soon.
