Tom Charles Sexton, 71, of Wooster died Wednesday October 12, 2011 at the Regency Hospital in Cleveland.
He was born January 29, 1940 in Knoxville, TN, son of the late Robert and Juanita Long Sexton.
Tom attended Northwestern High School and worked as a maintenance electrician at Gerstenslagers until he retired in 2004 after 43 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #398 in West Salem and loved gambling in Las Vegas and sitting at a creek in Gatlinburg, TN in the Smokey Mountains.
Tom is survived by his children Tim Sexton, Sherry (Jeff) Minter both of Wooster and Greg (Michelle) Sexton of Lakewood; grandchildren Zachary Sexton of Wooster, Ryan (Laura) Minter of Mt. Juliet, TN, Tyler (Becca) Minter of Barstow, CA; great grandchildren Kaitlin and Jonathan Minter of Mt. Juliet, TN; Lana Minter of Barstow, CA and a sister Frances Smith of Wooster.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 18 at 7:00 PM at McIntire, Davis and Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Rev. Larry Black officiating. A Masonic Memorial Service will immediately follow the funeral service. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 PM until the time of service.
