WOOSTER – Thelma M. WILLIAMS, 76, of Wooster, passed away Friday, November 4, 2011 in Mercy Medical Center in Canton.
She was born July 19, 1935 in Webster Springs, WV, the daughter of Earlie Sommers and Augustine Estella McCauley Utt. She married Roy Lee Williams, Sr. on July 11, 1967. He survives.
She had worked as a deli clerk at Buehler Foods and was a member of the Mt. Zion Church of God.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Michael Glenn Tomes of Rineyville, KY, Dixie Lee Etzwiler of Wooster, Robert Earl Tomes of Wooster; Roy Lee Williams, Jr. of West LaFayette, OH and Matthew P. Williams of South Carolina; Step-son, Michael Henry Williams of Wadsworth; 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; a sister, Lulabelle (Harry) Hamrick of Webster Springs, WV.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter Michelle Caine , a brother, Robert Utt and a sister, Betty Louise Utt.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Monday evening from 6-8:00 p.m.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Tom Geissinger officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Shreve.
