MILLERSBURG – Verona D ZEBRAK, 73, of Millersburg, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011 in University Hospital in Cleveland.
She was born September 13, 1938 in Velva, ND, the daughter of Herbert and Alvira Annell Heizelman. She married Edward Zebrak in 1957. He survives.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church where she was a member of the choir and the welcoming committee. She was also a contributor to the Gabriel Foundation. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella of Lakewood and had been a member of St. Hedwig in Lakewood. Verona made blankets for cancer survivors and she enjoyed gardening, singing and cooking.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children DeEtte (Donald) Jones of Lakewood, Elizabeth (Rick) Porter of Oviedo, FL, Susan (Jim) Dosztal of Fairview Park, Edward (Colleen) Zebrak Jr. of Lake Buckhorn, Teresa (Dean) Hunt of North Ridgeville, Michael (Francesca) Zebrak of Falconara, Italy and Joseph (Rebecca) Zebrak of Lyndhurst; 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and two sisters.
Verona was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Friends will be received on Friday evening, December 2, 2011 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster, OH 44691 with the Rev. Stephen Moran as the Celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Mary Cemetery, Wooster.
