WOOSTER – Ronald Lloyd BADGER, 67, of Wooster, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2011 in his home with his family by his side.
He was born May 3, 1944 in Wooster , the son of Lloyd and Betty Wile Badger. He married Patricia Terwilliger on May 4, 1968. She survives.
He retired in 2009 from the Wooster Brush Co. after 32 years of service in the maintenance department. He enjoyed hunting deer and rabbit with his father and brothers. He also enjoyed time spent with his family and friends. Served his country with the US Army stationed in Korea during the VietNam War. He was a life member of American Legion Post 147 in Apple Creek. During the 45 years he was a member, he had served as Commander and was also a member of the Color Guard..
Surviving in addition to his wife are his mother, Betty Badger,daughters, Tricia (Kevin) Mullet and Kori Badger; grandsons, Zach and Jake Mullet, his siblings Donna (Gary) Stine, Larry (Karen) Badger, DeeAnn (Steve) Gentry and Rusty (Val) Badger; brother-in-law, Tom (Jan) Terwilliger and sisters-in-law, Joan (Frank) Domanski and Becki (John) Yungen and numerous nieces and nephews and his furry companion Maggie.
Ronald was preceded in death by father, Lloyd Badger his in-laws Ruth and Leonard Peteri and his nephew Mike Terwilliger.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Friday, December 16, 2011 from 4-8:00 p.m.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 17, 2011at10:30 a.m. with his nephew Mr. Jeffrey Terwilliger officiating. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Lakewood Cemetery in Akron.
