WOOSTER – Josephine Mary CHUCHRAN, 92, of Wooster, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Horn Nursing Home.
She was born September 24, 1919 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania the daughter of John and Virginia Petretca Chiccino. She married Stephen Chuchran on January 11, 1958. He died October 9, 2007.
She had been the manager of a hardware store and was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. Josephine was a people person who loved to get to know everyone and was very involved in her family’s lives.
Surviving are daughter, Jeanne (Ted) Brenner of Wooster; grandsons, Elliot and Eric Brenner; sisters, Inez Uhler of Florida and Mary Vano of Pennsylvania and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Tony Chiccino and a sister Edith Solazzo.
Graveside Services will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Joe Rubino officiating.
McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
