BURBANK – Betty Louise BEARS, 81, of Burbank, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 5, 2012 in her home surrounded by family.
She was born September 7, 1930 in Brilliant, Ohio, the daughter of Charles Oscar and Anna Pflugh Jenkins. Her first husband was Dwight Eugene Kendall who died in 1971. She then married Robert MacGuire Bears and he died in 1992.
Betty was a devoted mother, grandmother and a homemaker. She was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her children, Charles Joseph Kendall of New Philadelphia, Steven Allen Kendall of Burbank, Barbara Ann (Daniel Ray) Coffee of Burbank, and Jeffrey Eugene (Melissa Jean) Kendall of Fayetteville, Georgia; grandchildren, Chase Robert Kendall, Tanner Joseph Kendall, Adam Dwight Kendall, Andrew Norman Kendall, Kristle Anna Kendall and Joseph Dwight Kendall.
In addition to her husbands, Betty was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial services for family and friends will be held Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the SmithvilleBrethren Church, 241 E. Main St., Smithville with the Rev. Art Carr officiating. Inurnment will be in the Wooster Cemetery on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 2:00 p.m..
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
