HILTON, NEW YORK “ Theo W. Lintala, 94 of Hilton and formerly of Wooster died Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Lakeside Memorial Hospital in Brockport, New York.
She was born August 12, 1917 in Glouster, Ohio the daughter of Charles Elmer and Maude Gardner Williams. She married Tauno Lintala on August 13, 1938. He died November 5, 1998.
She retired from the Akron Brass Co. after many years as an executive secretary. She was an active member of the Zion Lutheran Church and the Augsburg Circle. She enjoyed portrait oil painting.
Theo is survived by her children Toini (Ed) Reese of Worthington, Ohio Vikki (Bernie) Jurs of Spencerport, New York, Erik (Laurie) Lintala of Massapequa, New York and Peter (Mary) Lintala of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren;
In addition to her husband and parents, Theo was preceded in death by her brothers Theodore and Richard Williams.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Thursday evening, February 9, 2012 from 6-8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, 301 N. Market St., Wooster with the Rev. Kenneth Anderson officiating. Burial will be held in the Maplewood Cemetery in Glouster, Ohio.
