WOOSTER – Bernice L FRY, 85, of Wooster, passed away Monday, February 13, 2012 in West View Manor Nursing Home.
She was born August 24, 1926 in Knox County, the daughter of Alva and Louise Juergens Fockler. She married Carl H. Fry on June 13, 1954. He died March 24, 2007.
She had been the business office manager for Brenner Brothers retiring in1980. A member of the Central Christian Church where she was a member of the birthday club, and a member of the Areme Club. Bernice enjoyed crafts, genealogy and her cats.
Surviving are her caregivers, a nephew, Larry (Teresa) Rouhier and a brother-in-law Kenny (Phyllis) Fry. Also sisters-in-law, Mary Fockler and Norma Fry and brother-in-law Earl (Helen) Fry all of Wooster and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Shirley Rouhier and Martha Fockler and brothers, Sanford, Alva, Harvey and Arlo Fockler and a brother-in-law, Frank Fry.
Friends will be received at the at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Thursday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. A White Shrine Memorial Service will be held at 5:30 p.m.
Services will be held at the Central Christian Church, 407 N. Market St., Wooster on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Kevin Phipps officiating. Interment will follow in the Sherwood Memorial Gardens,.
