WOOSTER – Twyla Mae MUSSER, 89, of Wooster, passed away Friday, February 17, 2012 in her home.
She was born October 6, 1922 in Apple Creek, the daughter of Charles and Ruth Bixler Dugan. She married Charles D. Musser on October 12, 1946. He died December 25, 2009.
She was a 1941 graduate of Apple Creek High School and retired in 1985 from the Department of Human Services after 19 years in bookkeeping. She was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ and the Apple Creek American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are her children Rebecca Sue Wagner and Rodney (Dollie) Musser both of Wooster; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and her cat Sassy.
In addition to her husband, Twyla was preceded in death by her parents and a son Craig Thomas Musser in 1991.
There will be no calling hours.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with the Rev. Kevan Franklin officiating. Interment will take place on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at the Apple Creek Cemetery.
