WOOSTER – Betty OLESKO, 84, of Wooster, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 in the Wayne Co. Care Center.
She was born June 16, 1927 in Wooster, the daughter of Walter and Loretta Howell Steen. She married George Olesko in 1968. He survives.
Betty was a graduate of Wooster High School and had worked for Buckeye Aluminum as a secretary for 8 years, had been an administrative secretary for Borg Warner for 16 years retiring in 1969 and then she was a secretary at Rubbermaid..
Surviving in addition to her husband is a brother, Larry Steen of Wooster and nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, brothers William, Homer, Walter and Arthur Steen and sisters Nora Long, Hazel Fraze and Stella McGrady..
There will be no calling hours. Private graveside services will be held.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
