BURBANK – Raymond L. BELL, 96, of Burbank, passed away Monday, March 19, 2012 in West View Manor Nursing Home in Wooster.
He was born December 25, 1915 in Wooster, the son of Warner and Cora Morr Bell. He married Gypsie Rogers on December 21, 1966. She died September 1, 1997.
He had worked in the foundry at Wooster Products for 25 years, mowed lawns and was a part-time farmer. He loved his horses.
Surviving are son, Danny (Robyn) Bell of Burbank; stepchildren Evelyn Dotson of Colorado Springs, CO, Morman(Georgia) Adkins of Wooster and Norman(Laura) Bowman of Millersburg, step-grandchildren, Mark Dotson, Jason Adkins, Angela McClellan, Jeff and Jerry Bowman; step-great-grandchild, Brianne McClellan.
In addition to his wife, Raymond was preceded in death by his parents,, step-son, Russell Adkins, sisters Orrie Bell, Velma Buffmyer and Lottie Rushrong,
Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 1:00 p.m. service on Thursday, March 22, 2012 in the chapel at West View Manor Nursing Home, 1715 Mechanicsburg Rd., Wooster, with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating. Interment will follow in the Jackson Cemetery, Creston.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
