WOOSTER – Clarabelle MUSSELMAN, 84, of Wooster, passed into everlasting life on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Wooster Community Hospital after a 6 month illness. Her final days were spent surrounded by her beloved family.
She was born April 5, 1927 in Wooster, the daughter of Warren C and Helen Coddington Messner. She married Harold W. Musselman in 1947. He died in 1993.
She retired from the Apple Creek Developmental Center. Clarabelle was an active member of the Apple Creek United Methodist Church, where she loved singing in the choir and creating beautiful quilts with her friends in the Ladies Sewing Circle. She also enjoyed working with children over the years through the Church/School Tutoring program. Clarabelle’s other interests included flower gardening, feeding her hummingbirds, lunches out with friends and reading. She also was a dog lover. But most of all, Clarabelle was a devoted and loving Mother and Grandmother who always put her family first in her life. She enjoyed family gatherings and making special treats for her kids and made every birthday and holiday special. She will be sadly missed but always in our hearts.
