WOOSTER – William C. Young, 61, of Wooster died Saturday March 31, 2012 at his home.
He was born April 17, 1950 in Anniston, Alabama, son of William Floyd and Martha Mills Young. William married Diana Kuehnke on December 30, 1985. She survives.
He served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and had worked as a truck driver.
Along with his wife, William is survived by his children Candus (Robert) Wolfe of Wooster, William (Pamela) Young of Zion, IL and Dawn Young of Gurnee, IL; grandchildren Robyn Wolfe, Breanna Young, Ashlee Wolfe, Vincent Young, Joshua Wolfe, Crystal and Alichia McIntosh and Kealy Young; great grandchildren Payton and Kenzlee Garver; former wife Margaret Davis of Wooster and a sister Julia Lunt of Argyle, TX.
William was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Kenneth and a sister Dean Reed.
Funeral service will be held on Friday April 6, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Pastor Michael Brown officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman. Friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
