WOOSTER – Orcelia BEAM, 101, of Wooster, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012 at The Inn at University Village in Massillon.
She was born May 17, 1910 in Coshocton County, the daughter of John and Charity Pixler Snow. She married Olaf Beam on October 21, 1955. He died January 13, 1997.
She was a homemaker and had worked for the Apple Creek State Hospital Pharmacy for 20 years. She was a member of the Wooster United Methodist Church..
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Orcelia was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Glen, Emment Clyde and John Henry Snow and sisters Cleo Tidball and Imogene Chalfant.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the memorial service on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with the Rev. Larry Black officiating. Burial will be in the Apple Creek Cemetery.
