WOOSTER – Diane ROOKER, 61, of Wooster, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 in her home.
She was born November 28, 1950 in East St. Louis, IL, daughter of Mel and Zella Grady Teasley. She married Dennis L. Rooker. He died December 2, 2010.
She had worked at JoAnn Fabrics, was a seamstress and enjoyed crafts and sewing. She was a member of the Hands of Grace Church and loved the Lord.
Surviving are her father, Mel (Vicki) Teasley of LaHabra, California, a daughter, Kelly Rooker and a son Brian Rooker both of Orrville, grandchildren, Ciera, Jordan, Nick, Elizabeth and Isaac Rooker; a sister, Lisa (David) Ernest of Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
In addition to her husband, Diane was preceded in death by her mother.
There will be no calling hours..
A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at the Hands of Grace Church, 4497 Melrose Drive, Wooster with the Rev. Steven Smith officiating.
