WOOSTER – Fay L. Brooks, 96, passed away May 2 at Smithville Western Manor after a period of declining health. She had lived in PA., NY and AZ before moving to Wooster in 2000.
She is survived by a son, Charles (Mary Ellen) Brooks of Scottsdale, AZ and a daughter, Margaret (Ludwig) Huck of Wooster and two sisters, Phylis Butler of
Syracuse, NY and Hazel Beebe of Delmar, NY. She is also survived by six
grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and
many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Richard, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Clyde Hart and two sisters Lucille and Marguerite Hart.
Private services will be held at a later date at the Valley Presbyterian Church in Paradise Valley, AZ. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County, 2525 Back Orrville Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
Fay’s family would like to thank the many people at Smithville Western and Wayne Manor for all their kindnesses and excellent care.
