WOOSTER – David Roy WAGNER, 86, of Wooster, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012 in the Wayne Co. Care Center..
He was born November 29, 1925 in Holmesville, the son of William I. and Ella Cameron Wagner. He married Mercedes Cedy Kramer on May 26, 1951. She died November 4, 2005.
He had worked for the Orrville Milk Company for 35 years retiring in 1982. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. Roy was a beloved uncle who enjoyed fishing, art and his love of life, friends and family. Served his country with the U.S. Army during WWII.
Surviving are nieces and nephews and his fishing buddies Sonny Ott and Denzil Lorson.
In addition to his wife, David was preceded in by his parents, a daughter Kim in 1993, brothers Kenneth & Clayton Wagner and a sister, Ruth Burkey.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the 1:00 p.m. service on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with the Rev. Kenneth Anderson officiating. Inurnment of ashes will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
