ASHLAND “ Ned A. Webster, 69 of Ashland passed away Monday, May 7, 2012 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
He was born February 15, 1943 in Ashland the son of Daniel S. and Margery E. Arnold Webster.
He attended Ohio University and graduated from Simmons Institute of Funeral Service in Syracuse, New York. He was a funeral director and a surveyor for the Ohio Department of Transportation and held various sales positions with Rockwell International. Ned was an avid sports enthusiast enjoying trap shooting, hunting, fishing, golfing, reading and nature. He was a great friend to many.
He is survived by his brother, D. Stephen (Catherine) Webster of Wooster, nieces Mary W. (Arthur) Haan and Melinda W. (Mark) Sattele and a nephew D. Stuart (Allison) Webster, 7 grand nieces and nephews and his adopted family Jim, Melissa and Kyleigh Buhl.
Ned was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be held at the Ashland Cemetery on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Sanford Mitchell officiating.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
