WOOSTER Matthew Aaron Ewing, 40, of Wooster, passed away peacefully with his family and fiancee by his side on Sunday, July 8, 2012, At Akron General Medical Center from the results of a cerebral hemorrhage. He was born July 4, 1972 in Holmesville to Lane and Patricia (Dilworth) Ewing. Matt graduated in 1991 from Triway High School. Matt s home was in the Melrose Mobile Home Park with his cat, Pink Floyd. After a period of declining health, Matt had two modes of transportation, his car and electric wheelchair. Many will miss Matt riding his wheelchair through the park to get his mail and to visit with his friends. Matt had a great sense of humor, enjoyed muscle cars, NASCAR and visiting with his many friends in the Park. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Jesse Ewing of Akron, his fiancée Victoria Freshman of Wooster and his grandmother, Nellie Dilworth of Wooster. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alvin and Marie Dilworth of Holmesville, paternal grandparents, Forest and Mary Ewing of Wooster and his Uncle Scot Ewing of Wooster. Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the service of Remembrance on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with the Rev. Candace Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Apple Creek Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to People to People Ministries, 454 E.
