WOOSTER – Daniel James Jim POUK, 60, of Wooster, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012 in the Brenn-Field Nursing Center in Orrville. He was born October 31, 1951 in Streator, IL. He married Debbie Howman on November 25, 1978. She survives. Debbie was a devoted wife and the love of his life. He had worked at Crown Steel and Regal Ware. Jim loved model railroad trains. He was a very happy jolly man who enjoyed going to the lakes and rivers where he found peace. He had a love of animals especially Pokey, his late dog. Surviving in addition to his wife are his mother & father-in-law, Vernon (Phyllis) Rafferty of Wooster, sister-in-law, Beth (Ronald) Winebrenner of Shreve, brother-in-law, Tony (Michele) Howman of Orrville; nieces and nephews, Alicia and Krista Winebrenner, Nathaniel, Ashlee and Hayden Howman; a family friend Charles Deville and foster family, Rex and Zandra Mairs. Daniel was preceded in death by his foster family, Lowell and Lena Mairs and Delores Dee Swysgood-Deeble. There will be no calling hours. Private family services will be held. McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
