WOOSTER “ Francis H. Crock, 84, of Wooster passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Glendora Health Care Center. He was born March 27, 1928 in Wooster the son of Michael and Elizabeth Schaffer Crock. He married Gladys Louise Krisher on November 3, 1962. She survives. He was a 1947 graduate of Wooster High School and had worked as a machinist at Rexroth for 33 years retiring August 1, 1990. Francis served his country with the US Army from 1954-1956. Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Jim, John and Steve all of Wooster and Patty (Roger) Young of Shreve; grandchildren Brittine Stutz and Emily Young. Francis was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Esther Merillat, Helen Spitler, Clara Goodrich, Martha Burkhart and Alice Ladd. Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster on Friday, July 20, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Christopher Trenta as the celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
