WOOSTER – Margaret E BOARDNER, 97, of Wooster, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 in her home. She was born May 4, 1915 in Wooster, the daughter of Henry and Lillian Oberdusky Leiner. She married Albert Boardner on September 22, 1942. He preceded on May 8, 2007. She had worked for the Westfield Companies from 1972-1985 when she retired. Member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi National Sorority, the Wooster Country Club, Knat Boxers Square Dance Club and she enjoyed ball room dancing and traveling with her husband. Surviving are a son, Mark Boardner of Wooster and niece, Sally Schofield of San Diego, California. In addition to her husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, and infant brother Clifford and a sister, Ethel Kaser. There will be no calling hours. Private family services will be held. McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
