WOOSTER – Mary Elizabeth GUENTHER, 95, of Burbank and formerly of Barberton and Wooster, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2012 in Burbank Parke Nursing Home. She was born January 29, 1917 in Fredericksburg, the daughter of Edward and Julianna Lind Guenther. She was a dog groomer. Mary attended St. Mary Catholic Church and enjoyed painting. Surviving are a nephew, Richard (Marjorie) Guenther of Wooster, nieces, Patricia (Bernard) Nold of Shelby and Jeanne (Robert) Martin of Wooster. Several great nephews and nieces also survive. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Gus, William & Paul Guenther, infant brother, Raymond Guenther, sister, Margaret Guenther. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Stephen Moran as the celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. Mary Cemetery. McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
