LOMBARD, ILLINOIS – Elizabeth Betsy McCafferty KARALIS, 68, of Lombard, Illinois passed away, Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital in Hinsdale, Illinois. She was born in Pittsburgh on August 23, 1943, the daughter of Carl and Mary (DiPasqua) Casper. She married Alex A. Karalis on September 22, 1984. He preceded. Elizabeth worked as a project manager in the telecommunications industry. She was a member of Wellness House in Hinsdale, Illinois. Betsy was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Wooster. Surviving are her children, Ronald P (Kathleen) McCafferty of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, Sandra M. (Reed) Cook and a granddaughter, Sara LaFarlette of Idaho Falls, Idaho and a special friend, Frank Gagnepain of St. Charles, Illinois. In addition to her husband, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Deborah A McCafferty. Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Friday, September 7, 2012 from 6-8:00 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster with Rev.
